Sketching at Great St Mary's, May 21st

Our regular monthly sketchcrawl is on Saturday, May 21st, in a beautiful interior of Great St Mary's Church and around (Market Square, King's Parade). Also, we can have a few people up the tower at a time.
We will meet at the main entrance to the Church at 12:00.
After sketchcrawl, at 2:20ish, we are meeting at a Cafe (probably Grads Cafe in the University Centre in Granta Place, will confirm) to swap sketchbooks and chat.
Bring your sketchbook and stool, and enjoy :)

You don't have to sign up or register. The event is free.
You can join the Event Page on Facebook, so you could discuss, share your sketches and have a look what others draw:

May Challenge

May Challenge

Dear Urban Sketchers!

Choose your weapon: pen, pencil, watercolour, ink... and sketch! Sketch all May: every day, every weekend, every Tuesday, or any time convenient for you. Share your drawings, enjoy

As it is an Urban Sketching group, please go by our Manifesto → :
  1. We draw on location, indoors or out, capturing what we see from direct observation.
  2. Our drawings tell the story of our surroundings, the places we live and where we travel.
  3. Our drawings are a record of time and place.
  4. We are truthful to the scenes we witness.
  5. We use any kind of media and cherish our individual styles.
  6. We support each other and draw together.
  7. We share our drawings online.
  8. We show the world, one drawing at a time.

Please share your sketches on the Facebook Event page:
Facebook Event Page (lots of our drawings here!)
and/or on our Twitter Account:

Have fun :)
